Sidni Dalcour: 25-Year-Old New Orleans Woman Found Shot Inside Car
Sidni Dalcour, 25, was found dead on May 18 at a new Orleans East apartment complex. She had been sot multiple times behind the wheel of her car. The engine was still running when first responders showed up to the scene.
Who would shoot Sidni Dalcour? Her family wants to know. The 25-year-old was sitting in her car outside a New Orleans East apartment complex on Thursday, May 18, 2017, where he cousin lives. Witnesses reported hearing several gunshots at the complex, which is locatedin the 7000 block of Bundy Road.
Dalcour, who had previously lived in the Dallas area, had relocated to the Big Easy and worked at a French Quarter restaurant.
Sitting in the driver's seat of her red 2003 Infiniti G-35, Dalcour was found dead. Her body had multiple gunshot wounds. The car was still running, according to a press release from the New Orleans Police Department.
Dalcour's mother said that she doesn't know who would want to murder her daughter -- but she told local media that she was trying to escape a tumultuous relationship with her estranged husband.
"It's so senseless," Denise Dalcour told the New Orleans Times Picayune. "She was beautiful and sweet."
