Raven B. Gant, 27, was shot to death on Thursday, Nov. 28, 2019, Thanksgiving Night in Minneapolis, Minnesota, according to media reports.

Friends and family told local media that as Gant lay dying, her toddler daughter stood next to her.

Police were summoned to the scene and found Gant bleeding out. Officers tried to save her life, doing several techniques including CPR.

Gant was rushed North Memorial Healthcare, where she was pronounced dead.

Randall Jermaine Watkins, 41, has been arrested in connection with the shooting, which is being investigated as a domestic situation.
