Felicia Jones: 21-Year-Old Pregnant Mother Found Dead In Jacksonville Park

Felicia Jones, 21, was found dead in a Jacksonville, Florida park on Saturday, September 25, 2021. Police have launched an investigation. Jones was nine months pregnant.

Felicia Jones of Jacksonville, Florida, was looking forward to the birth of her baby.

Now, her family is looking for answers after the 21-year-old was found dead in a Jacksonville park on the morning of Saturday, September 25, 2021. A pedestrian spotted her body around 6:30 a.m. and called 911.

Even more devastating for the family is that Jones’ baby was due to be born in just two weeks.

She was nine months pregnant and the baby had a projected birth date of October 8.

"I want Jacksonville to come together on this. We can't let this go. We can't let this slide. We need everybody to come together," Angelica Williams, Jones' aunt, told First Coast News. "This is a whole unborn baby ready to be born in two weeks. A beautiful young lady who just turned 21 this month."

A GoFundMe created by the victim’s family says, “Our family took a major loss we lost my niece and nephew. This is a unexpected tragedy for our family and can’t believe we lost Felicia and her unborn child. He was set to be here in just two weeks.We appreciate and Thank you for any donations towards burial expenses .”

“We want to let the world know that she was loved," Williams told the TV station. "Her baby was expected. We wanted this baby. I was super excited about my nephew. All of that has been taken away from us. We’re distraught right now.”

As of now, police have not released a cause of death or any information related to the killing. What authorities have said though is that they are treating Jones’ demise as a "suspicious death with foul play suspected.”
