Tia Mack: 39-Year-Old Woman Stabbed To Death In Florida
Tia Mack, 39, was reportedly chased down and stabbed multiple times, according to Fort Lauderdale police. Her body was found early Saturday, July 10, 2021 near an intersection.
Family members of 39-year-old Tia Mack of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, say they won’t rest until her killer is brought to justice.
“She had people who loved her, who cared about her, and I wont rest until justice is served,” her sister Patricia Ware told Local 10 News in Florida.
Police say they found Mack’s body about 6 a.m. on Saturday, July 10, 2021 on a city street in Fort Lauderdale.
At least one witness saw the attack, which was reportedly done by a man.
“I just want justice for her. She didn’t deserve what happened to her,” said Patricia Ware, Mack’s sister.
“Why would he do that to her, she had her back turned, stabbed her in the back, he’s a f***** coward. He is a coward,” Ware said.
After a brief police chase, law enforcement arrested Joseph Jean, 51, in Palm Beach County and charged him in her slaying.
Officers have confirmed to local media that the horrific stabbing was caught on surveillance video, according to the SFlorida Sun-Sentinel.
