Black Girl Tragic is run by two freelance journalists who spend their time volunteering to write, edit and update this website and many videos and social media across several platforms. It is done because the stories of black women and girls are severely underreported and forgotten after one day. We want to grow the site as a space for learning, for remembering and most of all, celebrating the life of very special people. These people — our people — are worth it. #BlackGirlTragic
