Kim Davis-Robinson: New Widow Gunned Down In Driveway Outside Mississippi Home
Kim Davis-Robinson was shot multiple times after she pulled up in the driveway of her Batesville, Mississippi home about 3 p.m. on Saturday, October 30, 2021.
A $,1000 reward has been offered in the murder, which happened in broad daylight about 3 p.m.
Davis-Robinson was rushed to the Panola Medical Center, but was pronounced dead shortly thereafter.
Police are looking for a suspect, but none has been identified so far. Witnesses told the authorities that the gunman fled in a blue vehicle.
It is unknown whether Davis-Robinson knew her attacker. What is known is that authorities say she tried to escape, managing to pull back out of the driveway, but she was eventually cut down in a hail of bullets as she tried to maintain control of her vehicle, according to The Panolian.
When police arrived, they found the victim inside of her vehicle, which had crashed into a ditch a short distance from her home, authorities said.
According to news reports, Davis-Robinson was a widow. Just two months earlier, her husband, Michael G. "Dike" Robinson, died in Batesville.
Despite speculation online, authorities have not stated whether there is a connection between the deaths of the Robinsons.
As of now, no arrests have been made and investigators continue to conduct interviews related to the case.
Police are asking anyone with information to immediately call the Batesville Police Department at 662-563-5653.
