Mya Rae Lee: 21-Year-Old Woman Shot Dead In South Carolina; Boyfriend Turns Self In

Mya Rae Lee, 21, was fatally shot in the head on Thursday, May 18, 2018, in a Seneca, South Carolina apartment, police say. A 25-yeaer-old man was been arrested in her slaying.

Law enforcement in Seneca, South Carolina are investing after a 21-year-old woman was shot in the head Thursday, May 18, 2018. Mya Rae Lee, 21, of Seneca, died from the gruesome injury.

Police said the shooting looked to be a domestic situation. Her boyfriend, 25-year-old Richard Anthony Dunston, Jr. of Seneca, turned himself in a day later, according to WYFF.

Lee was shot just after 8 p.m. Thursday at an apartment, according to Oconee County Coroner Karl Addis and Seneca Police Chief John, the Independent Mail reported.

Dunston is set to be charged with murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
