Jameka Williams: Houston Mom of 4 Gunned Down In Front of Her Children; Ex Charged
Jemeka Williams, 38, was at her southwest Houston-area home getting ready to go out when violence and death showed up at her door.
Her on-again, off-again boyfriend, who is also the father of at least one of her four children, was inside the Missouri City area residence on the evening of Friday, November 10, 2023. He was supposed to be moving out of the home in a matter of days.
"She was in the mirror combing her friend, about to go out with her friends, and he couldn't handle it and just did that to her," her sister Jaterra told local TV station FOX 26 on Monday. "I was shocked…But I did see it coming. He was very jealous of her."
According to police, Christopher Lee Levels, 40, pulled out a firearm and shot Williams in front of her three daughters, ages 14, 12, and 7 years old.
"My niece who was here at the time called my phone and said that her dad had killed her mama, and she was just crying," Jaterra Williams was quoted as saying.
Williams was shot and killed in her bedroom in the Missouri City area. Williams, a mother of four, was gunned down in front of three of her children.
Family members told local media that Levels had threatened Williams before but because he was so close to the family, nobody really thought he would follow through with anything.
