20-Year-Old Jo’Miya Ann Wilson Killed in Domestic Shooting
Jo’Miya Ann Wilson, 20, was involved in a domestic incident which resulted in her losing her life just days after Thanksgiving.
On Dec. 2, sheriffs responded to a domestic-related shooting incident on a residential street in Hazel Green, Alabama.
Upon arrival, sheriff deputies found Wilson dead on the front porch of the residence. A law enforcement investigation revealed that Wilson suffered from multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
A suspect has been detained by authorities, but as of Monday, no charges have been filed, according to a release from the Madison County Sheriff’s Office.
The suspect was detained and transported to the Criminal Investigation Division for questioning.
Sheriffs say the investigation is still ongoing.
