Now Birmingham authorities are trying to find out why someone would want to kill her.

Heard was shot to death in her north Birmingham home on the morning of Saturday, August 18, 2018. Authorities were investigating the case as a domestic matter.

 Sgt. Johnny Williams told AI.com that when responding officers entered the home, they found Heard suffering from gunshots wounds.
