Sahlena Blackwell-Jacobs: Mother Of 2's Body Found In Burning Truck In New Jersey
Sahlena Blackwell-Jacobs was one of those people that lived life to the fullest. The Erial, New Jersey woman worked as an executive assistant at the William J. Hughes Technical Center located in Pomona.
But one thing about Blackwell-Jacobs is that she always doted on her two young children, including one recently born. So when she disappeared, her family in south New Jersey knew something was terribly wrong.
They called the authorities and Blackwell-Jacobs was subsequently reported missing. The search didn’t last long though.
The mother of two was found dead in her husband’s black Chevy Trailblazer on a freeway in Williamstown, New Jersey on Thursday, December 19, 2019.
John Jacobs, 27, was arrested and charged with multiple charges, including first-degree murder, arson, and obstruction of justice.
According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, investigators would not disclose what they believe is the motive behind the vicious attack.
What is known is this: Blackwell-Jacobs died from “blunt neck trauma,” according to the Gloucester County Prosecutor Charles Fiore.
