Dorothy Dixon: 53-Year-Old Woman Shot Dead At Construction Site In New York
Dorothy Dixon, a New York woman trying to make ends meet, was at the wrong place at the wrong time. That’s what police officials are saying after the Brooklyn mother was cut down by a bullet in broad daylight.
Dixon was working at a construction site Monday, Feb. 4, 2019 on Coney Island. Two men were arguing nearby and one of them pulled out a pistol, authorities said. That’s when Dixon, an innocent bystander, was hit by a stray bullet.
“There’s a lot I would say to that person, they have no idea what they took away from my family, my mom was our everything,” Minnie Scott told local media.
