Kiara Alleyne: 20-Year-Old Florida Woman Stabbed To Death; Boyfriend Charged With Murder
Kiara Alleyne, 20, was involved with a man 10 years her senior and shared her home in Ocala, Florida. But all was not well.
The couple were evidently having problems. That’s apparently what led to the tragedy of Sept. 11, 2019. That’s when authorities say 30-year-old DeAngelo Clark allegedly stabbed Alleyne.
An apparently panicked Clark then Facetimed Alleyne’s father to ask what to do, according to People magazine.
“What should I do?” Clark allegedly asked Alleyne’s father during the FaceTime call. Her father even saw his daughter dying in a pool of blood, according to an affidavit obtained by People.
Clark then allegedly left the scene and was found in the Florida keys after trying to set fire to his car while inside of it.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Office said that Clark was found by sheriff’s deputies and airlifted to Ryder Trauma Center in Miami with “burns to his arms in a bizarre series of events that began with a burglary call”.
“I want to thank our Deputies and our 911 operators who all did an outstanding job putting the facts together of what was transpiring very quickly,” said Sheriff Rick Ramsay. “We wouldn’t have been able to put the pieces together nearly as fast regarding who we were dealing with had our 911 staff done an exemplarily job behind the scenes. They have one of the most important jobs when it comes to keeping the public and emergency responders safe, though they rarely receive public accolades. Thank you to all.”
Clark could face more charges out of Monroe County pending the Fire Marshal’s investigation.
