Tamasha Ussery: Mother, 22, Shot Dead In East Cleveland
Police say Tamasha Ussery, 22, died from a gunshot wound in East Cleveland on Sunday, July 9, 2023. Police have no suspects as of yet.
Dylan Thomas says he doesn’t understand why someone would want to hurt Tamasha Ussery, a young mother from East Cleveland, Ohio.
“That’s the big question here, she’s a good person, she’s not like a aggressive or violent person, she’s a loving person,” Thomas told local TV station WOIO.
Speaking of 22-year-old Ussery, whom Thomas shared a 2-year-old daughter with, he said, “She was a beautiful person that’s why it’s so hurtful.”
On Sunday, July 9, 2023, police responded to a call about a woman being shot around 4:40 a.m. By the time first responders arrived on the scene, the victim had “no signs of life,” police said.
Police are offering a $5,000 reward for more information on the shooting, which is still under investigation. Anyone with information can contact police detectives by calling 216-681-2162.
