Taylor McFadden Robinson, 29-Year-Old Realtor Shot Dead In South Carolina

Popular Realtor Taylor McFadden Robinson, 29, was found shot to death on Sunday morning, January 23, 2022, in her Florence, South Carolina home. Her husband has been arrested.

Taylor McFadden Robinson, 29, was a popular Realtor and businesswoman in Florence, South Carolina. The mother of two was known for going out of her way for her clients, her family told local media.

“She started from the bottom and worked her way up. Very successful. Very proud of her.”  Her sister, Renee Fulton was quoted as saying. “She worked. As far as doing the real estate, she put it on her back. It was nothing about money for her. She took these families in on her own. And to say their life was cut short in this manner. Something I can never get over my family," said Fulton.

Before opening Tayler Robinson Real Estate in Florence, Robinson worked for United Real Estate, where she began in 2016. There, she was a top-producing agent. She soon founded two businesses of her own, Pretty Little Princess Nail Salon and Moving Up moving company.

McFadden Robinson was found dead Sunday morning, January 23, 2022, in her Florence home. The coroner confirmed that Robinson died from a "gunshot wound to the head."

Police arrested and charged her husband Duncan Robinson, Jr. with murder, burglary and possession of a weapon during the commission of a crime, according to WPDE TV

After Robinson’s death, it was learned that she filed a petition to get an order of protection against her husband. A Florence County judge denied that order, citing a "failure to prove facts of alleged abuse," according to court records obtained by WPDE.

According to ABC15, the order of protection read in part:

"On this day March 23, 2021, Duncan came over to my home demanding the kids. He followed me after repeatedly being told to leave the premises. I called the police on March 21. Duncan came to drop the kids off. He blocked my car in and entered my home without permission. On March 12, Duncan broke my back door after kicking in repeatedly to attempt to enter my home. On March 9, he tried to fight the contractor on my property. March 15, Duncan tried to run me over with his car."

According to the TV station, the judge wrote in his denial of the order of protection that "Parties were advised to get attorneys and file divorce action. Differences appear to be over children."

"She was a mother, a sister, a successful entrepreneur, my very best friend. The system has failed us,’ her sister told the judge in the case. “My sister asked for a restraining order and the judge denied it. Please do not allow the system to fail us again,” said Anastasia McFadden.

Robinson leaves behind two sons.
