Britney Seymour, 21, was stabbed to death Thursday, June 15, 2017 on Decatur Street in New Orleans' French Quarter by a group of girls, including her cousin, witnesses told police.

Twenty-four-year-old Aysia Chambers, who recently completed graduate school from Buffalo State University, was found dead in her family's home on June 2, 2-17. An official cause of death is forthcoming from the medical examiner.

New York police said that Aaliyah Alder, 21, was shot in the head during a dispute in a Bronx stairwell. A friend of her girlfirend, Devaughn Johnson, 22, has been charged with murder.

Harmony Warfield, 7, was shot and killed by her 2-year-old cousin on June 6, 2017, police said. The shooting happened in an apartment complex in Nashville. Police are searching for a 27-year-old man who was at the residence at the time, but fled.

Sidni Dalcour, 25, was found dead on May 18 at a new Orleans East apartment complex. She had been sot multiple times behind the wheel of her car. The engine was still running when first responders showed up to the scene.

Tyvitta Dischler, 27, was found burned and shot in her Milwaukee home after police responded to a child abuse call. Her 5-year-son was also hospitalized. Her estranged husband is in jail. 

Manei Glover, 22, was shot and killed in front of her father's home in Trenton, New Jersey on Thursday, May 25, 2017. An autopsy has revealed that Glover was pregnant. Her killers remain at large.

Tynesia Cephas, 16, was killed Wednesday, April 26, while trying to break up a fight in Wilmington, Delaware. Police have no suspects.

Shyeanne Lewis, 23, was found on April 22, 2017 after deputies forced their way into her apartment on College Court; she died from upper-body "trauma," police say. Her boyfriend is being held in her slaying.

On March 26, 2017, police say Allen D. Cashe opened fire on 35-year-old Latina Herring outside a Sanford, Florida gas station, killing her, and wounding her father and her boys, ages 7 and 8.

 Kenyatta McCurry, 33, was found dead in the 3000 block of S. Michigan Street on March 12. Gregory Jones is charged in her slaying. McCurry was allegedly pregnant with Jones' child.

On Thursday, April 13, 2017, sisters Kendall Brown, 27, and Kayla Brown, 19, were gunned down outside the elder sibling's Hickory Hill home in the 3800 block of Shallow Wood Court. Kendall's husband has been charged with murder. He said that he caught his wife cheating and "blacked out."

Jennifer Renee Smith, 34, was found dead Wednesday, April 12, 2017, in her Charlotte home. A man she was romantically involved with,Leroy “Jay” Anthony Cooper III, has been arrested in her slaying.

Uniece Fennell, 16, was found unresponsive in her cell around 3:30 a.m. on March 23, the sheriff’s office said. Her family is requesting an independent investigation.

The body of Sheila Abdus-Salaam, 65, was found floating in the Hudson River near 132nd Street and Hudson Parkway in Manhattan on Wednesday. 

Chelsea Hill, 14, was killed in a hit-and-run on May 25, 2015 in Cleveland, Ohio.

2-year-old Serenity and 4-day-old Genesis Freeman were found Saturday, March 25, 2017 stabbed to death in a woodsy area of Hoke County, North Carolina. Their father, Tillman Freeman, has been charged with first-degree murder.

Police said a 15-year-old Chicago girl was apparently sexually assaulted by a handful of men or boys -- and the ordeal was broadcast on Facebook Live. Her mother told local media that she just wants to know that her girl is safe.

Alteria Woods, 21, and four months pregnant, was shot and killed Sunday March 19, 2017 when a SWAT team raided a Gifford, Florida home. The sheriff alleges that her boyfriend, who authorities were after, used her as a human shield.

Karlea Renee Thomas, 31, was found dead Friday, March 17, 2017 in her southwest Atlanta home by her 11-year-old daughter. Her boyfriend is being questioned.
